About Roots

Going from preconception to parenthood is a time of significant transition for everyone. All parents need great care and attention during this transformational time.

OUR SIGNATURE SUPPORT GROUPS

Our purpose

Roots Family Collaborative (Roots) is a Bozeman-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect all families to the support they need from preconception to parenthood in Gallatin and Park counties.

Since 2017, we’ve existed to connect parents to parents, parents to professionals, and professionals to one another during this unique and often challenging developmental stage.

Our programming includes weekly peer support groups, classes and special workshops, monthly and annual community events, like Moms Like Me, for all parents, and a trusted Perinatal Resource Guide available at provider offices and other community locations.

Through effective programming, paired with our incredible resource network, Roots is able to raise awareness about perinatal mental health, normalize the expectations of the perinatal period, and strengthen support networks for our growing community. We provide an essential safety network for the hundreds of families undergoing this major life transition each year in our community.
